AN UPDATE ON OUT OF SPACE

With winter very much upon us, it’s hard not to think about the fun we have putting music on outdoors in the summertime. For nearly 10 years we’ve been fortunate to host summer events in our community and it has proven to be incredibly fulfilling to bring so many people together for amazing shows in beautiful places. It’s wild to think that our town of Evanston played host to outdoor shows with the likes of Elvis Costello, Jeff Tweedy, CAKE, Patti Smith, Lord Huron, Buddy Guy, and Mavis Staples among so many others. We are equally as grateful for the years we spent in Skokie with everyone from Courtney Barnett and The Decemberists to Sylvan Esso and Thee Sacred Souls.

With that, we need to let you know that Out of Space will not be returning in 2026. We are so proud of what we’ve accomplished with that event and hope you’ll think back on it as fondly as we will. We couldn’t have done it without you!

There is much to be excited about with the return of Evanston Folk Festival for a third year and the tenth anniversary of Winnetka Music Festival, which we are honored to present. Both of those lineups are some of our best yet, and we’ll be sharing those after the holidays. We have more tricks up our sleeve and look forward to lots opportunities to come together for music under the stars in the future. Thanks to our community for being willing to try new things and show up to dance with us.
